Patient Reviews
Apr 07, 2024
I have had consistently excellent experiences Dr. Perreira and I'm very grateful to be able to have orthopedic surgery at Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital without having to go to Honolulu!! Over the past 5 years she has performed 4 surgeries on my hands. In each case she took the time to help me understand the options and procedures. In each case I had excellent results both in relieving chronic pain and regaining improved joint function. Recently I again saw Dr. Perreira to evaluate swelling and pain in my hand. I don't necessarily look forward to going to the doctor but in this case it was wonderful to see her again. She is always personable, confident, and supportive--exactly what I want in a doctor. I have recommended Dr. Perreira to friends and acquaintances a number of times and they always thank me after seeing her.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
