Physically, my back was a mess. I was emotionally exhausted. I was scared of living the rest of my life in pain. The pain was horrible and despite years of injections and a prior discectomy, I couldn’t get better. I asked my friend, who is a highly regarded Orthopedic surgeon who he would use, and he directed me to Dr Kim. End of the day, hugely successful fusion. Pain disappeared and spine fused L4-S1. He’s an engaged doctor, spent time with me, showed confidence, and uses cutting edge tech. Since then I had another emergency fusion, but I was living in a different state and had to use someone else. The result was good, but not perfect, like what I got with Dr Kim. I recommend Dr Kim to all my friends if they have pain. I hope to never talk to him again, but if I get back pain, he will be #1 on my list.
