After 10 years of suffering, Dr. Tariq Hammad was able to diagnose a very rare case of autoimmune disease in my mother and was able to explain what other doctors could not figure out. After unnecessary surgeries and unnecessary suffering he was able to figure it out. I guess he took his own personal time to look at over 200 pages of medical records to be able to come to this conclusion, and after changing medicine and replacing a blocked stent, my mother started feeling better, but after some time the stent needs to be replaced again. Finally, after being told it was pancreatic cancer, but was not, then told it was pancreatitis, but it was not, Dr. Hammad was able to figure it out! It is called IgG4-RD. After genome sequencing, it was determined that I also have the same mutated genes as my mother and that my chances of having this at some point are real, and for this I am very grateful to know that I can now make lifestyle changes that may decrease my risk. Thank you Dr. Hammad!
