As a retired critical care physician I generally am reluctant to have surgery myself. After several months of severe sciatica, I sought out an experienced surgeon with excellent training and experience. I was not disappointed with Dr. Ghacham. He reviewed my history and examination, explained the MRI findings and outlined my options . We agreed upon an L5-S1 laminectomy. The minimally invasive surgery went well and my symptoms resolved quickly and completely.As a medical professional and as a patient I highly recommend Dr. Ghacham.
